Hi! Thanks for reading my blog! My pronouns are he/him/his and I am currently located in Austin, Texas working for the Texas Democratic Party. I am really proud of the work I get to do every day to help support the values I believe in. It is important to note that the data and opinions expressed on my blog are wholly my own and in no way represent my employer.
My goal with this blog as discussed somewhat in various posts is to have a place where I can show cool stuff I am thinking about, and stop bothering my friends with the same three things I can’t get out of my head. Additionally, I am trying really hard to stay out of the news and Republican ads by being relatively judicious about what I publish (the vast majority of what I write never sees the light of day).
I’ll finish this up with the name of my blog: “Political Imagination Rules the World”. It is an adaptation of a Napoleon quote and a political science concept. The synthesis of which is my outlook on the goal of my job: creating positive change in society by expanding what we imagine is possible, achievable, and inevitable through the magic of data science.
